Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of GreeksLedger (the “Service”), the options strategy journal available at https://www.greeksledger.com and https://app.greeksledger.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

GreeksLedger lets you model options positions, record trades and adjustments, view greeks, payoff estimates and performance statistics, and optionally obtain AI-generated commentary using an AI provider key that you supply. The Service is a journaling and analysis tool. It is not a broker-dealer, does not execute or route orders, and does not hold your funds or securities.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing in the Service is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or derivative. Payoff curves, greeks, probability-of-profit figures, margin estimates and AI commentary are model outputs based on delayed or third-party data and simplifying assumptions; they can be wrong, stale or incomplete. Options involve substantial risk and are not suitable for every investor. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions.

3. Eligibility and accounts

Access is currently limited and granted from a waitlist. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials used to sign in (we use Google Firebase Authentication) and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@greeksledger.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Your content

You own the trades, notes and other data you enter (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to enter it.

5. Bring-your-own AI keys

AI features run only when you provide your own API key for a supported provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI). Your use of that provider is governed by its terms and pricing; you are responsible for charges it bills you. We encrypt stored keys at rest and use them only to make the requests you trigger. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate; treat it as a starting point for your own analysis, never as advice.

6. Market data

Quotes, option chains, calendars and reference data come from third-party providers and may be delayed, estimated, or unavailable. The Service labels the feed it is using and whether it is delayed. Market data is provided for your personal, non-commercial use within the Service and may not be redistributed. Where you connect your own broker or data provider, that provider’s terms also apply.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone’s rights;
• probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the Service or its data providers;
• reverse engineer the Service except where the law permits it;
• share or resell access, or circumvent invitation or tier limits;
• upload malicious code or content you have no right to use.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text and graphics, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name or branding.

9. Early access, changes and availability

The Service is in early access. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service or your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms. We will try to give notice of material changes and to let you export Your Content, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or data retention.

10. Fees

The Service is currently free for early-access users. If we introduce paid tiers we will publish pricing and terms before charging you; continued use of a paid feature after notice constitutes acceptance.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CALCULATIONS, DATA OR AI OUTPUT ARE CORRECT OR TIMELY.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 100.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims, losses and expenses arising from Your Content, your trading, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are not affected.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date above will change and, for material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Using the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the new Terms.
